The YUDIVA Botanica Formaldehyde-Free Keratin Treatment can be used on its own, but for clients who want stronger straightening, longer-lasting results, or more resistant hair, you can enhance it by adding the YUDIVA Booster.
Mixing Instructions
Add the Booster at approximately 1/3 of the amount of keratin treatment being used (for example, 3 oz Botanica + 1 oz Booster). Mix thoroughly until the products are completely blended.
Application Instructions
- Wash the hair 2–3 times with a clarifying shampoo.
- Rinse thoroughly and towel dry.
- Blow dry the hair until it is approximately 80% dry.
- Mix the Botanica Treatment with the Booster according to the ratio above.
- Apply the mixture evenly throughout the hair, staying approximately ¼ inch away from the scalp.
- Comb through to ensure even distribution and remove excess product.
- Leave on the hair for approximately 45 minutes (longer for more resistant hair).
- Rinse about 80% of the product from the hair.
- Blow dry the hair completely.
Flat Iron (thin sections)
- Fine or damaged hair: 380–400°F (193–204°C)
- Normal hair: 410–430°F (210–221°C)
- Resistant or coarse hair: 440–450°F (227–232°C)
Pass the flat iron 5–10 times per section as needed.
Professional Tips
- The Booster is designed specifically to enhance the performance of formaldehyde-free keratin treatments.
- For very resistant, curly, or coarse hair, the Booster can significantly improve smoothing and longevity.
- Always adjust the flat iron temperature according to the condition and health of the hair.
